I'm a Utahn. Since 1962. I love the state, residing in Park City since 1980.

But if I want to grow a garden, not fight a frozen drive way for 4 or 5 months each year and, here's the irony; if I don't want to fight the traffic in St. George, do you have a suggestion for the best place to live in Utah?

Let me know.

I'm a fan of Boulder, Utah...near the Grand Staircase Escalante Canyons. I also like the Eden/Liberty area (although that may be too cold for your tastes).

Blanding!! We hardly get snow...one good snow storm every 7 years...You can grow a great garden, you don't have to worry about traffic cuz there's approximately 10 cars on the road lol and as for your work you can do it via web cam! St. George would be good but too much traffic and pretty hot in the summer...Beside Blanding is 1 hour from Moab, 45 minutes from Lake Powell, 1 hour from Monument Valley. The down side is we're 1 hour from a Wal-Mart and 2 hours from a half way decent mall...unless your not the shopping type it would be great for you! lol Spacealien is good...don't go as far as Bluff though, you'll really be hittin' the edge of the world ;-)

I'm the only anchor remaining at FOX 13 from the beginning of News, Weather and Sports that went on the air January 1, 1992. At the time I was hired, I was the General Manager of the Salt Lake Golden Eagles, the city's professional hockey team. I had also handled the public address duties for the Eagles and just about every other pro sports team in the city including the University of Utah's football, basketball and gymnastics teams along with partnering with Tom Barberi on KALL radio for almost 19 years. Like most television sports anchors, I spent much of my earlier years playing sports in high school and college along with some semi-pro baseball and basketball before the Army interrupted by fun and games. Now, my activities are limited to golf whenever I can find an extra 4 hours or so to play 18. Utah has been my home since the early 60's and I can't see ever leaving. We are really fortunate to live in such a terrific state.
