Who will be Salt Lake City's next Mayor? You decide. Good Day Utah will have Dave Buhler, Keith Christensen, Ralph Becker and Jenny Wilson in studio this week. I know what questions I want to ask them, but what do YOU want to know? That's important to me too.

Share your thoughts and questions. I can't promise you that I'll get to all of them, but I'll definitely consider them!

Happy Labor Day!

P.S. Good Day Utah will have Dave Buhler and Keith Christensen live in studio tomorrow.

Okay Nin...

Here are a couple of questions for the Candidates...

1. "As a property owner in Salt Lake City, how do you as Mayor, if elected, plan to deal with the ever growing cost of the aging infastructure of the City? (ie.. The water & Sewer main lines that are in a deteriorating state...)

2. Will you be available as the Citizen's Mayor, to the public and not just flying about the USA on your personal agenda?

Thanks Nineveh!

J

In your feable attempt to send a message, May i offer this suggestion to you...

Please DO NOT insult the intended parties by spelling their name wrong...or the demeanor by which it was given... Please do so in good taste.

Thank you!

3- What is your plan for SLC's Future?

4- What is your plan to keep SLC economy booming?

6- What would you do to clean up air pollution?

7- What is your favriot color?

8- What made you run for Mayor?

9- What is your definition of Common Good?

Fear is a big thing with most of the population.

...Fear of losing your job

...Fear of running out of money

...Fear of being shot

...Fear of losing your home

...Fear of flying

...Fear of medical bills overcoming the insurance policy or the inability to obtain insurance

...Fear of terrorism

...Fear of being falsely accused

...Fear of being dumped by your spouse

...Fear of your kids being bullied at school

...Fear of being gassed to death by polution or poisoned by the food you buy

and the list goes on... I'm sure you can come up with many more...

While trying to decide who I should vote for, I don't want to hear some candidate talking about building lots of purdy new buildings downtown in Salt Lake City and bashing Bob Murray while there are some critical issues we are all suffering from. Government is who needs to change. They certainly don't listen to all of "us". They are allowing the illegals to cross-over and the immigrants are taking the brunt of it. A word to the wise: you can't just "look" at someone who is a certain color and say they are illegal. People! Quit acting like "all" mexicans are illegal! The government is also who over-looks the needs of the "genuinely" poor and needy and the elderly. They are the ones who are supposed to make the laws that govern how we act toward each other, communicate, take care of the earth, but is anyone of our candidates really addressing the needs of Utahn's? Would someone out there get off the pot?
