Let's try this again! Who will be Salt Lake City's next Mayor? If you watched GDU this morning, you heard Dave Buhler and Keith Christensen talk about their platforms. Ralph Becker will be on Good Day Utah tomorrow morning. So again, if you have any questions that you'd like to see addressed, please share them below.

P.S. You can't expect change if you aren't involved in the political process!

You are so right, If we want change we need to ask
questions now, as well as once the race is over.

I would like to ask each and every candidate the following questions;

Will you raise taxes? If so, Why? If not, Why?

What can you do regarding Illegal Immigration?
What will you do regarding Illegal Immigration?
(please give details0

What is your main concerns regarding Utah, and how will you make them realistically better?

Will you be willing to listen to the people?
If so, How will you make this readily available?

What are your plans regarding the the Sky Bridge, Pioneer Park, Liberty Park, Bike Friendly Pathway along I-80, or the Historic preservation?

Will any of your changes encourage families to our cities within our state?
Will you make any changes to discourage criminals?

Who do you feel should pay for municipal fiber-optics if it is implemented within our state?

Do you feel our legislature should spend their time adding a sundown clause regarding the ridiculous old dumb laws instead of righting new laws to get their names on the books?
(This could put Utah on the map by being the first state to smarten up!)

Is there anything regarding the current Utah’s liquor laws you would change?

Where do you stand regarding public schools and the right for parents to financially have the right to choose where their kids are taught?

Are you for or against the school vouchers?

In addition to Penmur's question about stance regarding vouchers ... I'd add "and why?"

Personally, I feel that tax payer subsidized parental choice options come second to accountability. We have no business discussing vouchers in lieu of fixing a system nobody wants to use the word "BROKEN" about. Parents already have the ability to send their child to any private school they want. Why do we need to subsidize that?

As far as a question I would ask ...
Regardless of how aligned or disageeing your points of view, where do you see your place being while the President of the United States is in town (Life threatening family emergency being a valid exception)? Would you ever leave the President's side to protest against her/him?

I start off every morning waking up our viewers, and it's always a pleasure! I'm happy to be part of Fox 13's Good Day Utah team. I anchor bright and early from 5 to 6 a.m. You can also catch me on the streets reporting for both GDU and Live at 11.
