How was your Commute?

Good morning!!! Hope you had a great weekend. Just checking in with everyone to see how their morning commute is going. Legacy Parkway just opened to commuters on Saturday. Today is the first "real" morning commute since it opened, so I'm wondering it if really DID make a difference. And since it's rather difficult and unsafe to interview people while they're driving on Legacy Parkway (that's nearly impossible anyway), I'd like to use your comments during GDU.

So did it cut down on your commute? And do you think its worth the cost to taxpayers? 685 million dollars...

Oh and will you be using the trail next to the scenic byway?

I am stunned that not one person has had a comment on this new highway.

It is on the opposite end of where I drive except maybe one or twice a year.so all I can say is that I love the name, it is quite regal sounding.

The first true test will be tuesday morning when the 4 day work week people start back. most people think every one gets friday off but that is not true. they split it between monday and friday, this is so that all of the offices can stay open for a 5 day work week. there fore i seen Tuesday as the true test for LP.

maybe everyone decided to use the extra time they saved on their commute with their families instead of blogging...

and iornman...the state never said some people would get mondays off instead of fridays. hmmm...let us know how your commute is this morning.
p.s. how are you adjusting to the new schedule? do you like or dislike it?
