Finally...the day has come. Round 2 of the AI auditions! This is the day when the final AI ido hopefuls that passed through round 1 in july will get their shot at auditioning in front of the JUDGES! There are now 4. Paula, Randy, Simon and (drum roll)...Kara DioGuardi (a songwriter that's worked with Ms. Adbul before). If anything this is going to be the most nerve-racking day for the contestants. Today is when they find out if they get the golden ticket to HOLLYWOOD.

Hopefully my photographer Jeff and I will get to meet all the judges and the host, Ryan Seacrest. Cross your fingers for us! Last time, we didn't get to meet Mr. Seacrest. He was "too busy" AKA "too hollywood" for us.

All joking aside, any thoughts? Will you most likely be watching AI's season 8 since the auditions were held in our state? I can't wait to see who makes it through.

American Idol Has been a great program. It has given so many young people the opportunity to become sucessfull.

All 12 and 24 of the runner ups benifit. Think how much society benifits from sharing in all the wonderful talent , that otherwise would go unoticed.

I have found it a littel peculier that soemthing so commercial and sooo Hollywood could be so positive.

I think it has a lot to do with prorities and values. It is not much suprise to me that the "IDOL GIVES BACK" campaign has seemingly been a factor in keeping the show on top.

I love watching the judges I think they are all wonderful at their core. Ryan Seacrest is top notch Emcee. Watching those kids muster up unbelievable courage to perform beyond their limits wek after week after week.

The entire Program in my oppinon is spectacular on a genuinely emotional level.
