THE MUSIC AID INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AWARDS 2007
This is a message to everyone on the Music Aid Awards 2007 mailing list. If you have already entered we would like to thank you for taking part in this year's event - the variety and quality of the entries is very impressive. If you have not entered yet you have until the end of October to enter - just go to the website and click on Enter.
VOTING
It is now time to start the voting. It is very important that everyone takes part in the voting, as it is your votes that will determine the winners. Please go to either the main Music Aid website at www.musicaid.org or the awards website at http://www.musicaidawards.com and click on Vote. Or you can also vote from the Broadjam website.
HOW THE VOTING WORKS
Songs are presented in groups of three using a "good, better, best" system. Simply give one of these ratings to each song and then go on to the next group of three. You can see a full description of how the system works and why we use this system on the event's info page on the Music Aid Awards main website. Please rate in ALL the categories - not just the one(s) you entered.
We ask you to vote in this way at least ten times. Three songs are presented each time you vote so this will give every song at least 30 votes and ensure an accurate final result for this event. The system is foolproof but we need your votes for it to work, so please go online and vote as often as possible. We know some of you will get more involved and vote more than ten times - thank you, this makes it even better and it will mean that the average number of votes for EVERY song will go up. Please vote as often as you can. Remember, the more times you vote for other people's songs the more times ALL the songs - including your own - will be presented for voting. Last year we had over 16,000 votes in total.
