I have not gotten it yet, but I am happy that David's CD is out. He had hoped several years ago to release a CD one day. We were at Wal-Mart today, so I went to look at the CD, but it was sold out! I think it's great that it's selling well. The release parties and everything... That's pretty cool. Though, we all miss David back at home. After hearing some of the songs, the CD sounds great, so, if you have it, what do you think?

I heard that they are considering changing the gambling law to 18 instead of 21. Atleast in Wendover. They would do it to help with sales and such, because they have been down lately. Personally, I like the idea. I have been to Wendover many times and am almost sure that there is atleast one teenager there at some point.

I think it's better to allow them to do it at age 18, rather than tempting them by saying they can't until they are 21. You know with Vegas and Wendover that they've thought about it. One person said she was afraid of the drinking that goes on in the Casinos. That's true, there is drinking, but the drinking age would not change. They would still need to be 21+ to drink.

If at age 18, they are allowed to drive, allowed to vote, allowed to travel alone, etc, why not gamble? Sure, it may be addicting(another thing I'm sure someone will say), but chances are, whether it be at age 18 or 21, they may become addicted. I'll admit it, I would enjoy playing a game or two with my Mom. A penny machine or something. Just being around people and such, watching sports, etc, sounds fun. I do hope it passes.

Is anyone else voting for Cloris and Corky on "Dancing with the Stars?" All in all, she isn't the best dancer, but for her age, she is doing pretty good. I like how she adds some entertainment into the routine. That makes it even better. I also like how she is trying. I say that it is better to try than to give up. I'm rooting for Cloris & Corky and Cody & Juilanne.

Hope Misty May is okay too. She is out for the season, so I wonder what this will do to the show.

I know, I know, this is old news. Though, I'd like to say congratulations to Bridger Hunt for recovering and leaving the hospital. That must be a great feeling! I hope he is able to recover and save his leg. That explosion story was scary and sad to hear about, so I'm glad to hear that things are looking up for him.

I know they had a walk for him back in September -- that was great! Such a cool and nice idea. I saw that Bridger enjoyed it(it was on the news). Good luck to him!

What a great show! My cousins got me tickets as their birthday present to me. I had never seen the Blue Man Group before last night, but they were pretty good. Interesting and different, but entertaining and kind of funny. They played on these big white tubes, danced, etc. It was fun. I may have to see them if I ever go to Vegas again.

Miley did an awesome job! I was really proud of her. She did some older songs and a few new ones too. She was wearing a white tank top, white pants and a gold belt. She also did a few jacket changes. She danced, talked to the crowd, there were pictures, etc. It was a lot of fun. I know she's afraid of Fireworks(or was?), but I hope she liked the show anyway... They were well done! There were many of them, lots of different colors and sizes.

The stadium was filled and from what I could see and hear, everyone had a great time. It was an awesome way to spend the 4th of July. Congrats to Miley, the Blue Man Group, Glenn, the servicemen, etc. It was all very well done!

Great show for a great cause. Sgt. Jill Stevens sang and boy she's good. A few women got to talk to their husbands via satelite and it was so touching. Hope they all come home safe! Hope everyone had a good 4th of July!!

It's old news, I know, but none the less... What a change in the weather we've had this past month! It went from semi cool to super hot in such a short time. Weird winter, typical summer, lol. I find myself having to stay inside or in the pool quite often now. Going out it's just too hot. Drinking water is a big help though.

We went down to the Stadium of Fire for the 4th and it was perfect weather! Not too hot, but not cold. The sun was mainly covered by clouds and there was some wind too. I bet it was helpful for Miley and the Blue Man Group, seeing as their already hot up on the stage. The last thing they needed was to be up on stage in 100 degree weather.

So David didn't win. That's a major drag. He should have. Personally, I think he's got everything an Idol needs... Good looks, great talented and a nice personality. Not to mention that he is only 17, so he's got a lot to give. I mean, I'm happy for David Cook, good for him, but I don't think he wanted it. The main reason he even went to the auditions is because of his Brother.

The finale was great though. Great performances, good acts, fun with the Idols, etc. I liked it. Though, I believe David A will sell better. Anyway,  I'm looking forward to the Idol tour here in July. I bet that'll be an awesome show.

There is a lot happening in Davis County! The new Trax going from Ogden to Salt Lake, construction, Lagoon opening, etc. I love it. Minus the construction, hehe. I think it is great how many cities in the state are growing. Smaller cities now becoming larger. I hope to be riding the Trax to Salt Lake soon... That will be fun!

America got it wrong when they voted off Michael Johns. He was great! Personally, I think Jason C and Kristy Lee need to go and should've gone before Michael. He was my 2nd favorite guy. I mean, putting Michael and Carly both in the bottom?! America!

Both of them are great singers and seem to want it. I'm bummed he is gone. Only rooting for David Archuleta and Carly Smithson now. Off to work now.

It bothers me highly that people are so mean to animals. Honestly, they are there to be man's best friend, a companion, etc. I mean, who randomly throws a dog over an overpass, onto the freeway? Totally uncalled for! These people need to be punished in some other way than just a small fine. $100 and it's over for them. Not cool.

I'm a big animal lover, so it makes me angry to see these animals being treated so unfairly. Let them be people, it isn't hard. Anyway, looking forward to the warmer weather this week!

So my Mom and I went up to Ogden this weekend and got stuck in traffic. Not rush hour traffic or anything, but construction traffic. Took us like, 20 minutes to get through, with only one lane. I know I'm not the only one saying this, but... There's too much construction! Once it's done, it's not so bad, but while it's happening, it's such a pain.

Construction everywhere, even at my school! Can't wait for it all to be finished.

Congratulations go out to David Archuleta! I know him and his Family(mainly his older sister) and he's been working on his singing and such for quite a while. He's talked about doing 'American Idol' before, when he was too young to try out. So, I'm awfully proud of him.

I wish him nothing but luck and will miss him as he progresses into the competition. Gooo David! :)
