9th Amendment
The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

~Key Definitions~
  • Enumeration- 1- A numbered list. 2- The act of counting.
  • Construe- 1- Make sense of; assign a meaning to.
  • Deny- 1- Declare untrue; contradict. 2- Refuse to accept or believe. 3- Refuse to grant, as of a petition or request. 4- Refuse to let have.
  • Disparage- 1- Express a negative opinion of.

This is one of my favorite amendments.
