So the news is reporting that the infamous, absentee mayor of Salt Lake City has decied that he may actually run again for Mayor of Salt Lake City.

If Rocky is so enraged that the City Council "burned" him... does he really think that the citizens of Salt Lake City will give him another chance.

As a property owner in Salt Lake City, Fine, I'll take the oportunity to listen to him again.

However, he actually needs to show up to work.  The Mayor's staff  says that his time is his own.  Sorry! Wrong Answer.  When the City's "business" has suffered because he was not around, then there is a problem.

The City Council had to wait time and time again for the Mayor of the Capital City to actually be in the City to take care of business.  Not  just globe trotting on his "personal agenda".  If he is going to take off frequently for his own "Agenda", then it should not be at the expense of the citizens of Salt Lake City.

Hummm... "Personal Agenda"?

I suppose to be fair, you could go as far to say that all "Governmental Official's" should not be allowed to globe trot their "agendas" at the expense of citizens...

Then why does Big Buisness Lobby, and give "perks" to governmental leaders if only they will give something back... Like a vote on an inportant issue?

You scratch my back, I will scratch yours...
Big Buisness scratches the Senators and Congress mans back. They in turn scratch Big Buisness mans Back.

JonathanJay...

I'm not fan either. But he is entertainment to listen to on a slow news night...NOT!

Akiame...

Instead of the Finacial expense of citizens, I was really thinking more along the lines of the ethical expense that is exerted.

The only government officals I know of who don't cost citizens for their "agendas" are more along the lines of a Michael Bloomberg and Mitt Romney...

Your comments were well put!

ROCKY IS AT IT AGAIN!

He is out of Town once again! He is in New York speaking once again about "impeachment" because of the President Bush's lack of leadership...

Now who is calling the kettle black. Becasue I'n not seeing Mr. Anderson showing his leadership here at home.

Utah is Home! I've lived in other states... but Utah is Home. Good Food, Fun, Hiking and tons of other things to do. Mountains, Water, Snow... all of the best! I work in the outdoors. So being outside all of the time is better than being in my office anyday. My worst day outside is still better than being attached to the desk in my office. You Gotta Love it Baby!
