I operate a small business using diesel powererd trucks. Yesterday we hit $4.50 a gallon. We have been adding a 10% fuel surcharge since it hit $3.70. Now it appears we'll have to go 20%. I hate having to do that, but without we can't survive. UTA faces the same problem. We as American MUST CUT OUR FUEL USAGE! The Arabs need to sell us their oil as much as we desire to burn it up. Vehicles are one thing, simply transportation. But we opt to drive large SUV's, and large pickups. Until we cut senseless trips out and begin driving sensible cars, we will continue to drive oil prices up. We've parked our SUV and are driving a more efficient car. We love those SUV's, they echo success an show we can thumb our noses at the middle east. And for that we have ourselves to blame for the price of oil. The Arabs know we are arrogant and pretty much nothing will curb our lust for oil. We have to get control, one family at a time. When their sales fall, prices will plummet.
