Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are in trouble making too many bad loans to those who are trying to live beyond their means. I don't feel sorry for them, but if they fail, we'll all pay. They should not be approving people for such extravagant places. And why do familys of 4 need 3 car garages, 6 bedrooms and 4 baths? We want to be showoffs.

I agree. Also most people don't get their loans in this way; almost sixty percent of us don't buy our home via Fanny and Freddy anyway, No more bail-outs! No more embezzling of taxpayer money!

I live beyond my means!

Why are the basic needs of live beyond my means?

Everyone deserves to live!

Why has our society made it so that only the rich deserve to life, and the rich are usually the crooks and the greedy corrupt? It is wrong that One pig suckles all of the EDIT on the mother pig while the other pigs fade away...

Everyone could live on this planet, only if we would stop picking them to death like a baby bird in the nest eating all of the food mother brings and picking on the weaker baby until he dies of starvation...

What masks of honor our society wears, we claim to be compassionate and good but our actions are that of a devil.

I guess it's our nature to want to live better than we can afford. These lending practices could cause an immense reccession. We'll all pay then. Banks are consolidating and some are failing. They say a depression can't happen again. We may see it yet. I've studied the crash, it would be a bit different, but still could happen.
