Did you know that Barrak Obama only served in his Senate seat for 143 days, from his term start till he pretty much abandoned the job to run for President? There's a load of experience to run our country.

will i vote for obama bin laden? absolutely not!! he is way too much of a socialist for me to even consider that! now, having said that, sometimes it seems that having all that "experience" is the real problem with the politics in this country today.

I liked a female as president.

Here is something interesting, Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, She was the world's first elected female president (not including prime ministers, who are heads of government, women who held the position of chairman, or non-elected leaders) in 1996, she became founding chair of the Council of Women World Leaders at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Two years later she was appointed president of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology. In 1980 she was the first woman in the world to be elected the head of state in a democratic election, despite being a divorced single mother.

You know what I didn't have while she was President where I lived:
a. people shooting at my house
b. carjackings
c. gang violence at work
d. bullet holes in my boats
e. nomadic lifestyle comparable to being a postage marked envelope
f. doctors experimenting on my brain with nonsense and accusations
g. ricochet wounds

I think a woman is perfect in the idea of leading our country, for the reason we need to heal from all the wars or current and next generations have endured. That takes a womans care. I do not honestly think a man can do that.

President Obama-... I mean, Obama is going to be Pres. no matter what the voter turnout is. Its been quite some time since democracy has been in effect in our country. This is guy who stated that he would lift the ban on meeting with terrorists so he could meet with them, and stated he would side with the muslims if the political winds turned bad. Even after Pres. Bush took the power from the judicial and legislative branch and put them into the executive; effectivley creating a dictatorship /oligarchy, Obama said the status quo in Washington isn't enough and we need more of a global approach to solve the worlds problems. Just what kind of change is Obama talking about?

Woodrow Wilson only had 2 yrs. experience as a governor before he was President. I think as the election nears Obama is being seen as all talk, no plan. He's capitalized on his youthful image as some type of JFK clone. "I'm sorry Mr. Obama, you're no Jack Kennedy". If McCain adds Romney as VP he should get stronger. Obama simply doesn't have enuff experience, no toddlers at 1600 Pennsylvannia Ave.

How much federal experience did Carter have?

Obama's lack of experience shows more and more, yet I believe he has a good chance to win. I remember the Carter years,I was paying 18% on my loans. We ain't seen nothin yet if he wins. Why can't the demo's find anyone worthwhile?

The candidate is just the sock puppet for the party.. doesn't matter who they put up there.. they do what they are told by their party.

And as sad as it is.. even with Obama's lack of experience and socialist views he is still infinitely better than that senile McCain.

Anyone voting for Barack Huesein Obama "Bin Laden" isn't thinking!!!!!!
He's not one of US!!!!
He will play an initial part in the destruction of our country. Wake Up! Read the facts. Yeah, McCain has some flaws, but he's an American, through and through! Look for yourself. OBAMA IS NOT ONE OF US!

Wow... I mean... WOW. Obama "Bin Laden"??? Man, I just can't beleive how ignorant some people are. What on earth does a peacemaker like Obama have in common with a terrorist? I guess I did log into a republican news station web page, so I expected some things, but it sounds like some of you just think how your mommies and daddies tell you and have no idea what you are talking about. And who's the person who thinks JFK is Jack Kennedy?? HAHA!! Wow... I thought there would be some intelligent debate in here, but I guess I'm looking in the wrong place. Also, Renee... "Read the facts"... what facts are you talking about in particular? Is there some fact that Obama is not one of us somewhere that the rest of the nation doesn't know about? I mean, you can't run for president without being an American.

I forgot to mention what started this post... about Obama being a Senator and running for pres... Did you not realize that McCain is also a Senator? Do you think he's not putting in as much time running for President? Also, Obama HAS been making great political strides with our foreign relations in the meantime. He's actually been DOING things and not just talking about them like McCain has. No offense, as McCain isn't so bad, but he shouldn't run the country and I'm really sick of hearing him complain about Obama. I want to know what HIS view is... not what he doesn't like about someone else, and twisting their words.

Best quote of 2008:
"From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days........... I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that"
--- Columnist Cheri Jacobus

Please oh Please oh Please let us NOT elect Obama! I felt the same way about the democratic congress/senate, but it happened, I have a feeling it will again. Thank goodness it won't be Hilarious!
I do vote, I can complain. I can only hope we the people learn our lesson and not re-elect the idiot for a second term like we did with the Clinton debacle.
