My wife and I both despise eating contests.  With the obesity problem we face and the self esteem issue involved.

Big Budda my wife is over 300 pounds.  And the way you roll.  Is destructive and childish to yourself and your fans who look to you to be a roll model.

Want my approval?  Do the Big Budda diet and exercise program and have people love you for that, not just because your the big jolly guy.

People need motivation .....you're a motivator

Thank you for your comments. It's Budah, mis-spelled on purpose. If we were all trim and fit with six packs, life would be boring. The main thing is that we should all be healthy. I have a monthly check up, and there is no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no high cholesterol, so I am healthy. If you can't love someone the way they are what is the point. To answer your question, no I don't want your approval, but thanks anyway.

I forgot now it makes you money to eat!
I do love you Budah and my wife and every other person regardless of their weight.
Isn't it kind of the denial of the big jolly guy. My wife doesn't like weighting that much.
But you make a mockery of it. Just what are you mocking? Food, weight, yourself?

Why is it always black and white with you?
You don't need to follow me around reminding me of my past blogs. Your out to prove you are better. I don't like eating contests or promotion of gluttonous eating as a role model.
You don't have to like what someone does to love them. Oh I forgot it's good and evil with you. No middle ground at all.
I've watched Budha break things and come in large and in charge too much for my taste.
MX you just don't like me, you'd fight me on any issue. DDD
Big Budha it's just a personal opinion. And no I did not spell your name wrong on purpose.

MX if you can't come up with an original thought or statement without repeating one of my past blogs, then you can't play.
Plagiarism isn't fair!

Big Budah most of the comments made are for Mariposa....she stalks me!
Truth is I think you would probably be a lot of fun to be around!

I have just accepted my situation and using it to my advantage. Many people think that Fat people should not be seen. I believe that all people have the right to enjoy life as they see fit. I mis-spell my name on pupose because I want to show some respect for a form of deity. With me, what you see is what you get. I am like this all the time, at home, with my family and friends. I don't take offense to anything said, just know that I am like this and there's no changing.

Big Budah is from Samoa. The pacific rim diet and natural selection have combined to make large healthy people. Just like the diet in China has made small healthy people. The pacific rim has lots of sugar fruits, seafood and meat. While China has lot's of veggies with very little meat and seafood. So you must compare size and health to the population that a person comes from before you decide whether they are fit or not. And have you seen Budah move? He's like a freakin ballerina.

No No here we go again this was not about Budah, it was about eating contests.
If I had a problem with big people my wife and I wouldn't be together. It's not about people size but I thank you for the information!

For the record I don't like eating contests either...but when I am challenged by college students 3 seconds before a live feed, I felt put on the spot. With that said, eating contests don't make people fat...eating and not exercising make people fat.

For the record Budha you be you! I just don't like starving children adds and then feeds to gluttonous eating with no regard for what we are really doing here. We deny the wrong thing and embrace the wrong thing. You are perfect just how you are. We are supposed to be different.
And I would like to thank skooby for not misspelling every curse word he could come up with. I much prefer conversation with people.

Then, please explain how you go from saying someone is a destruction machine with no manners to saying you love and respect them? And how you make conclusions about people without knowing them.

I doubt that very few people, indeed, are fond of eating contests for the food. It seems to be more about competition.

That was my first impression of Budha. Why is it your job to remind me. He broke everything and had his fingers in everybody's food.
You have a lot to learn about love. And changes. Not everything is black and white.
I think this blog was for you mostly because you are the most critical person I know who isn't perfect herself. What did he say about throwing stones from glass houses? If you want to be civil you can stay if you can't then I will delete you every time.

As Leon Russell would put it "I've been so many places in my life time" I'm 56 this Nov. I've seen my country go through a lot of changes. I personally while being a guitar player song writer for 38 of those years. I supported my music by becoming an optician, graduated top of my class, went on to manage 5 Dr.' offices and one super store. Before my forced retirement. I'm the street version of House. I have sciatic palsy. The limp and the pain just a little different medication I've been taking for 35 yrs. My point I hear a lot of angry young people on this site and I think a lot of them haven't been through or done enough to be that angry. But I am personally unhappy when I get cursed at and told what it is like by some kid. Not that young people don't have valid contribution. The name calling and stuff I can do without.
