United States --- The President today ordered the immediate arrests and deportation of Oil Company CEO’s and board members to Guantanamo Bay as enemy combatants and war time profiteers.

...headlines that would actually mean something

With our troops sent away to the desert, who will save us from the enemy at home?

The President would never order his own arrest, He is the biggest terrorist in the world, a fear mongerer. Elect me president or you will all die.

There is no way Bush will crack down on his entrepreneur Big Oil Buddies, that is bad business...

Big Business and Government are a couple now, they where married some time ago in a secret closed door ceremony... It is a simple relationship: Government legislates rules and regulations "favorable" to Big Businesses so
they can rake in more profits and in turn Big Business Lobbyists share some of the "Gifts of Abundance" with legislators... Really it is a win win scenario, well for everyone but the consumer anyway...

Doug
Are you aware that less crude was pulled out of the earth this year than two years ago? What happens when demand rises and production falls? Arresting the heads of these companies would only do one thing. Drive prices up.

May as well arrest real estate agents and construction workers for the recent surge in home prices. Then how about employers for not keeping up with inflation? How about politicians that lie, and attornies that take advantage of domestic squabbles?

This countries technological advances have been slowed hindered and simply threatened not to develope alternative energy sources for almost 60 years.... that way the BIG Three at the time could make more money and more jobs... at the time.. we still havent answered why we need this oil to come from other countries..... we have our own... the only reason I can think of is that we want them to run out and then we rape them financially like they have us... as much as I would like that revenge.... is it worth it to US consumers just struggling to make ends meet.... especialy with high food prices loss of equity on our homes and no cure in sight... Revenge is a costly business
