Oil Robber Barons -- Douglas ChickAt the gas pumps in this morning, I stare at the swiftly spinning dials, and the cycle of anger begins. Oil Robber Barons strike at the pumps again. I check out at the grocery store, Oil Robber Barons impact the food I eat. I come home and watch the nightly news, Oil Robber Barons, Oil Robber Barons, something about Hilary and Obama, Oil Robber Barons.

It is true that we are a capitalistic society, and our country enjoys the luxury of a free market, but when our economy is driven by Oil Robber Barons, where is the line between a free market society and out of control greed?

The countries that regulate thier oil sales, have a stronger dollar then the U.S. (They are financially stronger than the United States.) Why, because they know their economy is based off the cost of fuel. Do we need the same regulations to protect our country, or do we allow Oil Robber Barons to drive down America until we are a weak, over inflated, hollow country, dependant on the generosity of other nations?

Yes. I don't know why we are funding both sides of this war. The American people purchase oil from countries that support terrorist, and our tax dollars and soldiers lives are spent protecting them.

At first I blamed the Big Oil Companies for the Prices of Fuel...

After mulling over the situation because I can't afford to drive anywhere, I now believe the fault lies with us... The common people.

This fiasco is our fault, not the Oil Robber Barons. It is our fault because we do not hold businesses or government responsible for their actions. Society constantly makes excuses for profits. Americans will go to any lengths to make a buck, including selling out moral integrity and honor.

Rip me off once, shame on you... Rip me off twice shame on me! Rip me off a third time and a fourth is sure to follow!

As long as people keep buying into their lies and crap they will keep slinging it...

To whom does the blame belong? To the one selling crap or the one buying it?

Vote with your dollar, messing with these kids money is the only way to get them to listen!!!

Im not a lawyer or even a paralegal... my question is:

Why havent "WE THE PEOPLE" charged our govt heads and the heads of these international companies based in the US for Crimes against the country? Isnt supplying the enemy with weapons and training against our constitution and considered Teason? If We have oil, Why do we need theirs so bad? I mean if you consider how much we really have it seems like our govt is just trying to horde it so that they run out first and then the Revenge Game is on ..... Thats a nice sentiment but at what cost? When you pay over 20.00 just to get about 5 gallons of gas.. with the AVG MPG of modern cars thats only what about 125 miles at best? Thats just counter productive... Cant these Ivy league educated politicians see that? Its bad enough that WE dont vote for our president.. I mean One vote per One person.. not this treasonous Electoral Congress crap they try to convince us is in our best interests.. I dont want someone to vote for me.. I want my vote to really count so I can vote these idiots out.. Im tired of slaving away trying to raise a family when Congress cant do their job and make a decision on immigration reform but they can vote themselves a $4,000 a year raise... for what.. makeing tough decisions.. they didnt do that.. oh was it a cost of living raise??? thats their fault tooo... when are they going to be accountable????? What happened to we the people... its not You the leaders is it?

LOL on typo, not much difference. How do you get into the electoral college, anyway? Do they have a scholarship for that? Maybe you have to pay tuition directly to Exxon! LOL
