Good morning! Well, sort of. I just got through re-watching the story about kids, cell phones and pornography. Kind of disturbing, to say the least. But, this post is not about what parents are not doing(cell phones for kids=big problems for parents...note to self...do not let kid have cell phone)but this post is about the dangerous implications of censoring cyberspace.

Censoring cyberspace. Wow. FOX13, along with other media outlets, like to hype up the dangers associated with unmoralistic behavior, whether it be by phone, computer, or television. But, what these fear mongering reporters like Sandy Riesgraf fails to forget, is that just ONE lawmaker introducing bills up on the hill to govern useage of electronic media is a bad thing. A very, very bad thing.
If any thing, they should be studying laws to see if some can be made to start punishing parents for letting their kid misbehave.

Censoring cyberspace is NOT going to solve the problem of kids sending nude pics of their selves over cell phones, computers, or what ever else is out there. BUT now, instead of solving a problem of kiddie porn, they are going to start a new problem of violating constitutional rights. And these rights are what makes the USA what it is today.

Please change your font color. try #444444 The red is a lil too much. Might I suggest a color wheel. Also you may wish to use other HTML tags to emphasize the words you want to and avoid using a larger font, because it shows that you are are yelling at us with your current method.

This is just an example. Have you tried the paragraph tag? Also, you may even try inline CSS.

Perhaps a little smaller. I put 14 as the size and I meant 14 pts. LOL! Anyway, you get my point. That italics, bold and underline are all available to show your intent. Just trying to help.

I would like to add that I totally agree with your point though. Religous zealots are infamous for trying to force everyone to comply with their dogma through slowly attacking our rights through legislating it.

my question is if your child isnt old enough to work and learn what live like as an adult than y should you buy a cell phone for them. if your child is under the age of 15 and cant work to help pay the phone bill than they dont need the cell phone or get them a dang cricket phone people. any more than that, that is the parents faults for what happens.

First of all, DRACCO.. Shut up. You posted 4 comments about how the font was "a lil too much".. You're suggestions to change the font are a "lil" too much.

And second, cell phones are not the problem. It's human nature. Human nature is the problem. I'm not the first to admit it, studies have proven it, sex sells. Although it may be true that these kids aren't selling anything through their scandalous pictures, sex (i.e. scandalous photos, provocative poses, inappropriate gestures, etc) are what stimulate the mind. It brings happiness to people.
I'm not saying child porn is acceptable. I'm simply stating the fact that everyone is over-reacting. Kids will find one way or another to look at another persons privates. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Now, third and lastly; Children should have cell phones. As technology is more readily available to the public (and more affordable) it becomes the popular thing. For example: In my house, we don't even have a house phone. All five of us have cell phones. That's it. If my twelve year old brother didn't have a cell phone, how would my mom know when he got home from school? How would I know if he needed a ride to baseball practice?

Everyone just needs to calm down. Cell phones are not the problem. Your kids are not the problem. The problem is the fact that the human mind is uncontrollably attracted to the sight or thought of sex. Deal with it.

I am your biggest enemy of public schools, corrupt politicians, and inept leadership. I do not march with the band, because I march to my own beat. You will either agree or disagree. Either way, I do not care what you think, because I am a free man. I support our troops 100%, fighting and dying in a war we ordered them to fight in. I despise corrupt leaders like Rocky Anderson, and others who abuse their power to persue their own agenda. I am former military. I am proud to have served in the greatest army the world has ever seen, defending the greatest country on the face of the earth, but I am not happy with our current group of leaders, and I demand change. I, am a "American", not what we have now in power..an "AMerikan". What is an "AMerikan", you ask? Its some one who follows the status quo, never expanding their minds, and pushing the norm. Its somone who feels safe with corruption and inept government all around them. Its some one who feels so powerless, that they think they cannot effect change. What is an "American"? An American is someone who will uphold the Constitution Of The United States Of America, against all enemies, forigen and domestic. Its some one who exercises their freedoms, and rights, withoput fear or repression. Thats an "American"!
