mysteriousmichaellee's Blog

Last Post 4 hours Ago

Ok. I was reading through some of the blogs in the faith section last night, and checking out some of the comments, and even read and posted some of my own. But, while I was doing this, I had this sudden insperation peck out this post on the ol' key board. (it was like a hammer hit me up side of the head, I tell ya! No, wait..that was the cops tazer as I told him that he should have his real gun replaced with a squirt gun, lol!) Now we all know the story of the bible. And we have a understanding of the concpets that the collection of stories in both the new and old testament has to talk about. There is even groups world wide who look into these stories about Christ, and all the prophets of the lords holy word. But, in this rush to seek and verify if the words in the bible are real or not, and anto make a person rather than to guide man on how to live, many have begun to get very lost on the way. And lost, these people really are.

See, admist all the suffering in the world from war to pestilence, man has taken some of the words the bible says, and just twists the heck out of them. But, the underlying message in the bible remains to this day....and this I hope a few people here do understand, these words I am typing here,  is that the lord, and his son, are saying that you should treat people the way you would like to be treated. Always more, nothing less.

Treating people the way you would like to be treated...respecting each others rights to live, rights to happiness, rights to truth, and liberty for all. (Yes, even those murdering doctors and women, robbers, murderers, and Osama and the Bushes, and those who seek abortion, and cops,  need to have these rights respected too!)  Stopping and helping your fellow neighbor, regardless whether you despise, hate, or wish he/she would drop dead. Even to extend the art of forgiveness to those who deserve it, from the lowliest of criminals, to the local police.(yes, those disgusting gestopo and criminals, including theifs, perverts, murderers, and others need to be forgiven, at one time or another) Going out and treating people with the kindness, dignity and compassion all of humanity so rightly deserves. And, teaching those around you the art of love...giving your self to each other your gifts of compassion, kindness and love.

No where in the bible, does it say to go out and bash some one in the head for not doing or living worship the way you want them to (wait...there is an old passage in the old testament, which the prophets Moses, David, and others passed down to those people in the old testament, in which Christ's instructions in the new testanment, gives these instructions to read, (clearly stating not to do this at home, or in public,) something about a passage about stoning the heck out of someone for something or other)

The bible clearly says to spread the word of God, live like God and his son by living the messages the bible says on how to treat each other with the rights of kindness, compassion, thruthfullness, loyality, and respect. So put those stones, phones, gun, rifles, and naughty books up. Go out and look at the human body exhibit at the Divinci center. And, last but not least, go out to the man or woman on the street, tell them you love them, all is forgiven, for what ever they may do,  and give them all a great big hug, because that is the true message the bible talks about, put down by none other, the holiest man above, Jesus Christ. The son, of the true living god.

You are welcome! Every one has their views on how gays, criminals, and all other aspects of human behavior should be conducted. But, if humanity could learn to heed the message in the bible, then there would not be so many problems

I push the edge on my humor and message sometimes. But that is due to a point you have made about people bending the word of God.
Rynald neiber "I probably totally misspelled his name said" "You make void the word of God by your traditions".
He also defined faith as "the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen". To say I can be like Jesus is to slap God in the face. Incinuating he didn't have to kill his son to purge to perfection.
God help you if you don't fully except the depth of the act christ performed for you. You are half carnal and half spiritual if you are one of his! Accept what he made you as perfection. If you don't have compassion and respect for the breath of life. You need to stop and think. Don't tread on me!

It is rumor because I've actually never seen it in writing but it is said that the Apostle John while on his death bed, his dying words were Love one another.
I would think that at that moment as an Apostle he would want to say the most important thing he can say. It wasn't sin no more it was Love one another. It is impossible to not sin. It was designed that way. But the new law is written in your heart and old sin is no longer sin. Romans 10 Christ is the end of the law for those that believe. He said if you've done it in your heart you've done it. paraphrasing. It's the heart that knows better!

OK Mysterious person, I started reading that post and was quick to think,,, I cant wait to reply to that and reply I will that the mysterious one did in fact unclude the police in that benevolent post.

I think you should lead by example and go out and hug a cop.

I also think that there is a time that even god approves of calling people on their bullschit.

You never did reply to a couple of my respectful commments, I find your words insincere

I will look to the book of mormon and the bible on how to be like christ. You have an interesting opinion.

I'm sure that only the people with the ability to close their eyes to ignorance will be uplifted by your... words. here are some you might like
# Because God liked Abel's animal sacrifice more than Cain's vegetables, Cain kills his brother Abel in a fit of religious jealousy. 4:8

# God is angry. He decides to destroy all humans, beasts, creeping things, fowls, and "all flesh wherein there is breath of life." He plans to drown them all. 6:7, 17

# God repeats his intention to kill "every living substance ... from off the face of the earth." But why does God kill all the innocent animals? What had they done to deserve his wrath? It seems God never gets his fill of tormenting animals. 7:4

# God drowns everything that breathes air. From newborn babies to koala bears -- all creatures great and small, the Lord God drowned them all. 7:21-23

# God sends a plague on the Pharaoh and his household because the Pharaoh believed Abram's lie. 12:17

# God tells Abram to kill some animals for him. The needless slaughter makes God feel better. 15:9-10

# Hagar conceives, making Sarai jealous. Abram tells Sarai to do to Hagar whatever she wants. "And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled." 16:6

# "I will not destroy it for ten's sake."
I guess God couldn't find even ten good Sodomites because he decides to kill them all in Genesis 19. Too bad Abraham didn't ask God about the children. Why not save them? If Abraham could find 10 good children, toddlers, infants, or babies, would God spare the city? Apparently not. God doesn't give a damn about children. 18:32

# Lot

# Lot refuses to give up his angels to the perverted mob, offering his two "virgin daughters" instead. He tells the bunch of angel rapers to "do unto them [his daughters] as is good in your eyes." This is the same man that is called "just" and "righteous" in 2 Peter 2:7-8. 19:7-8

# God kills everyone (men, women, children, infants, newborns) in Sodom and Gomorrah by raining "fire and brimstone from the Lord out of heaven." Well, almost everyone -- he spares the "just and righteous" Lot and his family. 19:24

# Lot's nameless wife looks back, and God turns her into a pillar of salt. 19:26

# God threatens to kill Abimelech and his people for believing Abe's lie. 20:3-7

# Sarai tells Abraham to "cast out this bondwoman and her son." God commands him to "hearken unto her voice." So Abraham abandons Hagar and Ishmael, casting them out into the wilderness to die. 21:10-14

# God orders Abraham to kill Isaac as a burnt offering. Abraham shows his love for God by his willingness to murder his son. But finally, just before Isaac's throat is slit, God provides a goat to kill instead. 22:2-13

# Abraham shows his willingness to kill his son for God. Only an evil God would ask a father to do that; only a bad father would be willing to do it. 22:10

# Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, is "defiled" by a man who seems to love her dearly. Her brothers trick all of the men of the town and kill them (after first having them all circumcised), and then take their wives and children captive. 34:1-31

# "The terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them." 35:5

# "And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him." What did Er do to elicit God's wrath? The Bible doesn't say. Maybe he picked up some sticks on Saturday. 38:7

# After God killed Er, Judah tells Onan to "go in unto they brother's wife." But "Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and ... when he went in unto his brother's wife ... he spilled it on the ground.... And the thing which he did displeased the Lord; wherefore he slew him also." This lovely Bible story is seldom read in Sunday School, but it is the basis of many Christian doctrines, including the condemnation of both masturbation and birth control. 38:8-10

# After Judah pays Tamar for her services, he is told that she "played the harlot" and "is with child by whoredom." When Judah hears this, he says, "Bring her forth, and let her be burnt." 38:24

# Joseph interprets the baker's dream. He says that the pharaoh will cut off the baker's head, and hang his headless body on a tree for the birds to eat. 40:19
More false words from the prince of peace

Wow that's a lot of ammo, so what threatened you so bad to bring out the big guns?

Just sayin. More words from the prince of peace, so much blind following means that you will continue to follow blindly.
I dont think threatened is the word for it, though, more like exasperated, perhaps.
I dont think the guns are so big when you read the caliber and manufacture.
They are only words brought forth by observation and study.
The true ammo is that the words are brought forth from the source of your own worship, from the pen of the men of your Lord.
If i am threatened it is by fears that ignorance might spike and i might get burnt at the stake, or any number of things your people are known for, and by your people i mean those who accept christ as their lord and saviour, you poor brainwashed saps, the christians.

trikkydevil, I think I can understand where you are coming from...most of what I see out there in the "Christian" world is an unfortunate bunch of people hiding behind something they truely do not beleive in. But I do wonder how people can believe in anything if most don't even believe in themselves.

i agree with tooshortdog, you say we should all go hug everyone, and love everyone, yet you spew hate and malice out of your mouth on a constant basis. you are the true definition of a hypocrite.

In a brave new world, we need to question all motives, good or bad. Not because questioning motives is a fad, but because as the old saying goes, the highway to Mephistopheles lair is always paved with good intentions. We need to fight evil in all of its forms. From the drug dealer down the street, to those in power, and to those who serve in our churches. We need to start being aware of what is happening in our own back yard, because, now is the time. I am against public education. Not because education is a bad thing, but because we do not educate our kids, we indoctrinate them. I am against law enforcement, and the penal system. Not because I am a fan of criminals, but because of the criminals behind the badge, behind the judges robe, and behind the offices we elect them to. I am for the underdog, because it is he who is usually the victor. I always help those in need, and also help those who are not. I am for those who want to help make humanity better. Not worse. I am for those who sacrifice a whole life to protect us from those who wish to destroy us. You will either agree or disagree. My posts are my opinions only. It is up to you, the reader to think about the issues being written about, form your own opinion, and decide what you want to believe. Welcome to a brave new world.
