Rep. Dennis Kucinich, who introduced legislation last year to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney, is now aiming higher.

On the House floor this evening, the Ohio Democrat proposed impeaching President Bush. In language similar to that in the articles of impeachment he raised against Cheney, Kucinich sought support for a 35-count indictment charging Bush with misleading Congress and the American people into war with tales of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Democratic House leaders have opposed impeaching Bush or Cheney as an unhelpful distraction. They were nearly embarrassed last year when Republicans voted to take up Kucinich's effort against Cheney in order to force a debate; they are unlikely to let the matter get so far this time.

Bob Fertik, president of Democrats.com, one of the groups pushing for impeachment congratulated Kucinich on his "historic leadership."

"We've waited seven years to find one Member of Congress brave enough to stand up for our Constitution, for which generations of Americans have fought and died," Fertik said. "We are thrilled and honored that Dennis Kucinich has chosen to be that one genuine patriot."

    I'm afraid my distaste for President Bush's administration goes much deeper than glib remarks posted as a vox populi.  But I won't pass the opportunity either, if it might help. 
    I don't believe in the first place, an alcoholic should ever have been allowed into the highest office of the land.  History shows that absolute power corrupts absolutely, nonetheless, and his family had him installed regardless, and further, used their influence to literally mock our free-election system by cajoling and manipulating to steal the 2004 election.

     Mr. Bush, and those who support him have done all but snip for good the right of habeas corpus.  It is my firm belief that Mr. Bush, with those who are in league with him, are bent on the summary destruction of our constitution, the absolute communistic control of the masses, and the enslavement of the United States Citizenry.
     He has done NOTHING to stop the pouring in of the poorest of Mexico's populace.
    He has done everything to take away the rights of the common U.S. citizen, to include state sponsored torture.  I have seen with my own eyes compounds built in the deserts the government has fashioned to hold the rebels it perceives will come over frustration with corrupt government.
    I also, regardless of popular and pablum official reports created by NOVA and others attempting to demonstrate "official" reasons for the building's in NYC to collapse on 9/11/2001(to include the 3rd building), believe the entire 9/11 events were planned, orchestrated and executed with precision so as to whip up this nation to war.
    It is also fascinating to see how tactics of fear and discretization of anyone who raises their head as to the impossibility of the two towers coming down because of airplane strikes, (a scenario for which those buildings were specifically designed to withstand!)  ENGINEERS (to include an engineer who taught for many years at Brigham Young University who was summarily dismissed over his questioning of the status quo), questioned,  and historically as well as scientifically by their profession,  challenged the validity of the supposed reasons those buildings came down in NYC. These engineers statements have largely been sequestered and ignored.
    Further, any fool can see the truth of the counter-claim as to the reasons those buildings fell if he/she spared 60 minutes out of his/her life to watch the many and ample videos demonstrating the facts in their entirety (several are found on U- tube).   It amazes me to see how many of common folk as well as those in my Utah state government, with whom I've tried to share this information,  REFUSE to even LOOK at the evidence, and would rather bury their heads in the sand (no pun intended).  I can't help comparing them with those of the ancient Israelites who'd been bitten by poisonous snakes in the wilderness, and PERISHED because they could not do as simple a thing as LOOK at the staff Moses had prepared to heal them.  Some looked, but MANY refused and were lost.
     The sun-um and bon-um to Mr. Bush is, "touche' " - perhaps it is all part of a master plan after all, to create enough frustration and distrust of government through lies and blatant abuses so that the general populace would be ripe for rebellion, let alone civil unrest.  Then, as they begin to follow the planted agitators, crush them and herd them off to where?  As I stated above, I've seen with my own eyes in utter disbelief the enormous compounds built by the federal government in the western deserts.  They sit empty, for now, but why in blazes are these things built out in the middle of nowhere, with fence and Constantina wire?  As places to keep those perceived as subversives to the prominent political wind?  Of course, we all know this has never nor could happen in this country - NOT - just look at what happened to the Japanese (who were legally Americans) during WWII.
    Why would anyone want to do these things to such a wonderful country and it's people?   As I have found is a general human condition, those who are screaming the loudest about an injustice are usually guilty themselves of the accusation.  Mr. Bush has so frequently said, there is EVIL in the world. Where is the real evil in our country now, Mr. Bush? When a finger is pointed, three are usually pointing back.  Mr. Bush, where does the evil lie?   
    We need to stand up to the President, and the rest in government, republican OR democrat WHO ARE THE EVIL and behind our demise, and say, " you can fool some of the people all the time, all the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time."
    I have lost all trust of MOST in government.  It seems those in office are interested in nothing but squabbling for their selfish greed, beholden to those who have nothing but blatant disregard for our environment,  future generations and the poorer nations be hanged.
    As well, I believe many in our government involved in an "inside group" have for the last 60 years sold our country out to an organization that seeks to overthrow the freedom of ALL nations, not just that of the USA’s.
    I tell you this, I'm consolidating my interests, and preparing to hold up financially, gathering food, clothing & wood,  and other supplies, and looking for alternate forms of transportation and living.  I think we're all headed for some pretty rough years, folks, regardless of who is elected this November.

This is only for those who don't bury their head in the sand when faced with something frightening or disturbing, rather, they get angry and determined to do something to survive and raise awareness of those around them.  I remember as I watched the towers fall live on TV as the the newscasters themselves were not even aware as indicated from their casual talk that the towers were coming down - the feeling I had was of dread - and that something was terribly wrong with this picture.  The following video, along with a couple others have confirmed my suspicions.  I would ask any reasonably thinking person to take a closer look at why the Towers fell that day in NYC.  Take the time to get at least 10 minutes into it.  It is all actual footage surrounding the event.  Be warned, you will not see things as you once did after this video:
